Amelia, Ohio. From its humble beginnings in 1982, Eagle Coach Company has continuously strived to design and manufacture high quality professional vehicles that exceed Customer expectations. Today, twenty-four years later, Eagle Coach Company is arguably the recognized industry leader in over-all quality, style, innovation and customer satisfaction. In 2006, Eagle expanded its manufacturing facility in response to growing customer demand, and now also offers a complete line-up of six-door limousines, along with its other specialty vehicles.

Eagle Coach Company is a Customer-driven professional vehicle manufacturer that can trace its origins back to the 1940s and the armored car legend Hess & Eisenhardt. When Hess & Eisenhardt sold its Cincinnati funeral coach division in the early 1980's, Eagle Coach Company was established, retaining a team of talented and experienced employees. Eagle Coach Company has grown to a team of 75 dedicated and knowledgeable employees that are committed to excellence.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Fred Wolfinger noted that, "Crafting Quality, Creating Relationships, Customers for Life is more than a slogan. It's actually the driving force behind what has made Eagle successful. The funeral coaches, six-door limousines and other specialty vehicles used by funeral directors create a lasting impression on the families they serve. At Eagle Coach Company, we dedicate ourselves to producing the highest quality professional vehicles that reflect positively on the funeral homes that use them."

Quality Eagle participates in the Cadillac Master Coachbuilder (CMC) and the Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) Programs. They also comply with all USA and Canadian motor vehicle safety standards. The strength of an Eagle coach starts with its custom steel superstructure, which insures structural integrity, safety and durability.

Each coach, regardless of its price-point, features a steel roll-cage partition structure that protects the driver's compartment from the casket in the unlikely event of an accident. Moreover, the rear floor features structural bracing, specifically designed and installed, that responds as a "crush zone" in a rear-end collision. These safety features also help maintain long-term reliability.

Mounted on one of the safest structures in the industry, is a 1-piece composite coach body. Strict adherence to tolerances in the body mold is a key focus for Eagle and helps them achieve, not only a smooth exterior surface, but also tight exterior body fits. The rear side doors, along with the back loading door, are also precision built using composite materials, which virtually eliminates the possibility of rust on an Eagle coach.

Inside the coach, the interior is fitted with premium automotive grade materials. Funeral directors have an extensive choice of interior fabrics and floor colors from which to select. The casket floor is 3/4", 5-ply, marine grade plywood with color coordinated laminate to withstand moisture that may spill from floral arrangements. High quality, chrome plated skid bars, bier pin holders, adjustable bier pins, and twelve rollers compliment the all-new, updated interior.

Eagle will not ship a coach before it passes a stringent quality test. Well over 200 quality checks are listed in the Eagle Quality Control manual, addressing such items as electric, water, air noise, paint, clearances, alignment, balance, cleanliness, and more. "If it doesn't pass our quality test, it doesn't ship," said Wolfinger. "And, when it does, it will be the finest example of Eagle craftsmanship possible"
